Boeing locks $1B contract to re-wing A-10 fighters

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a performance period of roughly 11 years and calls on the St. Louis-based aircraft company to provide 112 new A-10 wing assemblies and up to 15 wing kits.
