A new-concept GreenWise Market will be part of the Water Street Tampa development located in the Channelside area of Tampa, Florida. This is the 11th announced GreenWise Market location. In addition, the current Publix GreenWise Market located on West Azeele Street in Tampa’s Hyde Park neighborhood will be converted to a traditional Publix Super Market during the store’s planned remodel scheduled to begin next month.

The Channelside district will also be home to a traditional Publix Super Market, which is slated to open this August. GreenWise Market is expected to open in late 2021.
GreenWise Market is a specialty, natural and organic store, featuring items for both the health-conscious and gourmet foodie. A prepared foods area is home to gourmet pizzas and burrito bowls and wraps made with organic meats and cheeses, as well as vegan options. In addition, the store offers several in-house made specialties, including organic smoked meats, organic sausages and gourmet popcorn. Customers can pick up a glass of wine, local craft beer, locally roasted coffee, tea, kombucha or smoothie to enjoy in the seating area or carry with them while they shop.
The company’s first GreenWise Market opened in Tallahassee, Florida, in October 2018, and a second store opened in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, in May. The Mountain Brook, Alabama, location opened June 27, and the Lakeland, Florida; Boca Raton, Florida; and Lexington, South Carolina, stores are expected to open later in 2019. The company continues to look for additional GreenWise Market locations throughout its operating area.
