Positive Steps Therapy is a regional leader in providing physical, occupational, speech and developmental therapy, as well as nutritional services, to children from birth to 21 in their outpatient centers, and the birth to three populations through county-based early intervention services. PST continues to grow and meet the need for pediatric therapy in the Pittsburgh area by opening new centers and expanding existing centers to assist and encourage children in all levels of development.
After opening their sixth center in Upper St. Clair in February 2019, the need for pediatric therapy services that were more accessible for patients further from Allegheny and Butler counties became apparent. Positive Steps’ most recent expansion comes in the form of a 4,500 square foot outpatient center located at 2112 North Franklin Drive in Washington, Pennsylvania. This opening of PST’s seventh location allows for patients of all ages and skill sets to be seen. The new center includes rooms for feeding therapy, sensory processing sessions and orthopedic and concussion rehabilitation, as well as an open gym and therapy area where therapists use functional, play-based therapy to maximize every child’s potential, all while having fun.
