Zoom spurned Microsoft buyout offers before target-topping IPO

Microsoft reportedly made many offers to buy the San Jose cloud-based video-conferencing business over the years, including a last attempt earlier this year. Zoom's market cap going into its Wall Street debut on Thursday is over $9 billion, many times over its last private valuation.
