Dollar gets whacked as 3-year and 5-year government bond yields invert

The U.S. dollar drops versus its major rivals on Tuesday, led lower by weaker Treasury yields that saw the three-year and five-year yield curve invert. Elsewhere, the British pound bounces higher on the news that the U.K. could unilaterally overturn Brexit.
