This years Prime day comes with huge expectations from many business’ as they wonder, can Amazon break it’s own records yet again.

Amazon Prime day 2017 was reported to be Amazon’s biggest day ever. Not just the biggest Prime day but the biggest day in the history of their existence. Prime Day sales grew by more than 60 percent during the same 30-hour window in 2016, with a record number of Prime members shopping across 13 countries.
Although Amazon dominates the sales with their own branded products, some of the sales pour over into Amazon approved third party seller deals.Temples Pride is one example, they sold out of their available stock of microfiber mops in just a few hours during both of their past Prime day slots.

Then, for 2017 Prime day, having thought we had learnt our lesson, we doubled our deal amount to 4000 microfiber mops which ended up finishing in less than two hours, quicker than the previous year”.
The first Amazon Prime Day was held on July 15, 2015, in celebration of Amazon’s 20th anniversary. It ended up being so popular they decided to make it a regular occurrence.
Last year, Amazon declared July 11 to be Prime Day, but the savings kicked off even earlier for Prime members and were extended to last for 30 hours, up from the typical 24. Amazon was offering new deals as often as every five minutes, reaching 13 countries and making the day more of a global phenomenon.
