World Stock Markets Higher Amid Rallies In Key Commodity Markets And Trump Effect

Global stock markets were mostly firmer Tuesday, boosted by generally higher raw commodity market prices, led by crude oil. Nymex crude oil futures prices hit a three-week high overnight and are closing in on $50.00 a barrel. Energy market watchers now reckon the OPEC oil cartel may be able to come to a final agreement to cut production at next week's meeting. Iran and Iraq are reportedly backing the production-cut plan. U.S. stock indexes are pointed toward higher openings when the New York day session begins.
