Item 5.02.    Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Steven L. Tomberlin, has resigned, effective May 12, 2016, as Senior Vice President—Asset Management of Swift Energy Company (the “Company”). Mr. Tomberlin was not party to any compensatory arrangement that would cause the Company to make payments to him upon his resignation. The Company does not expect to immediately fill the position of Senior Vice President—Asset Management.
