Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 20, 2004, Ampex Corporation announced that it has entered into separate license agreements with two major Japanese manufacturers of digital still cameras, Canon Inc. and Sanyo Electric Company Ltd. A copy of Ampex’s press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
