Item 8.01. Other Events
On December 15, 2006, Allegheny Technologies Incorporated issued a press release
announcing that it had increased its quarterly dividend by 30% to $0.13 per
share and had made a $100 million voluntary contribution to its U.S. defined
benefit pension plan on November 30, 2006. The dividend for the fourth quarter
2006 is payable on December 29, 2006 to shareholders of record on December 22,
2006. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report on
Form 8-K.
