On December 19, 2006, Donald Picker, Ph.D., Callisto Pharmaceuticals, Inc.’s (the “Company”) Executive Vice President, Research & Development resigned from his position with the Company.

Attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference, is a press release announcing the filing of a lawsuit against Tapestry Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Leonard P. Shaykin and Kai P. Larson for breach of a confidential disclosure agreement between the Company and Tapestry.
